Sunil Ambris – July 2014 interview – Part 2

In Part 1 of the 2014 interview, we heard Sunil Ambris talking about the different formats of the game, which one he prefers and that Chris Gayle is his favourite player. We learnt that he didn’t have a choice but to play cricket, since his brothers – including big brother Romel Currency- played and also his father started taking him to cricket as a kid.

He discussed the importance of one’s mind and looked back on where he could have performed better in his previous innings, especially if he wants to achieve his goal of being a permanent fixture in the West Indies senior team.

We also heard that he believes in destiny.

In Part 2 of our 2014 interview, he told me where this notion of destiny came from.
