I am back. Hello cricket world!!!!! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Hellloooooooo!!!!!! And Happy 2019!!!

I have crawled out from under the rock where I have been for the last 3.5 years working on a non-cricket project which took quite a bit of….well, nearly all my leisure time.

When I DID have some free time, I chose to spend it at the lovely Grand Anse beach or taking in the occasional movie. I had no impetus to write. The project involved a LOT of typing so I wanted to rest my hands.

What perfect timing for me to have this break in between projects!

The West Indies Championship is underway; I get to support 2 teams….the Windwards Volcanoes and the Jamaica Scorpions, both of whom I got to see live in action at Sabina Park. Tough luck to interim Jamaica coach Robert Haynes and well done to Jamaican coach of the Volcanoes, Andre Coley.

I feel alive again and ready to add rich content for your reading, viewing and listening pleasure. Yes, I learnt some tech skills under the rock πŸ€“. I will also go back into my archives and share some pictures, videos and articles with you.

Some you may have already seen on CaribbeanCricket to whom I am most grateful for pulling me into this world of cricket media. So many rich experiences because of Ryan Narine, Lawrence Romeo and Sean Mitchell, who were involved with the website when I first started writing in 2003.

What am I working on now? Apart from possibly changing the look and feel of this website (experimentations will be in full force!!), I have to figure out who to interview and what to write about.

In the meantime, why don’t you listen to an interview Andrew Mason did with me in 2015 in Grenada during the Test match between England and the West Indies. Coincidentally, England will play two ODIs in Grenada in February.

What great timing for me to be back!!!!! (Can you feel my excitement?????)
